XVERSO is excited to present a series of exclusive works by Asian American artists selected by Kimi Kitada, who is an independent curator and arts educator currently at the Charlotte Street Foundation in Kansas City, Missouri. With her first NFT drop on XVERSO, we are excited to present contemporary artist Sumire Skye Taniai who received her BFA in painting from the University of Missouri in 2016 and received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Skye’s works are exhibited globally and are related to the concept of Asian identity in the US in the context of race, gender and the duality between Western and Eastern cultural beliefs.
