This PREMATURE artwork is the 154th Augmented Klecksography Painting. It was born from a color splash onto black cardboard and then blind-shaped by my hands following the instinct. The connection with the matter led to the materialization of this creature coming from the unconscious and crystallized in time through photography. “Take this PREMATURE revelation as a mirror for reflecting yourself in the work of art”.

Giovanni De Benedetto (b. 1989) is a klecksography fine art artist who developed a specific technique based on action painting, digital photography, and post-production,  for which he coined the term Augmented Klecksography Paintings (AKPs) to describe his creations, gathering in the PREMATURE project.

Giovanni obtained several recognitions in the fine art photography field, and his PREMATURE artworks have been exhibited in major cities worldwide, from Berlin to New York, Los Angeles, Miami Beach, Paris, and Milan.

In 2022 De Benedetto won the Decentral Art Pavilion contest (Venice Biennale) and the Art Market Magazine GOLD LIST, featuring top contemporary artists to invest in. Giovanni has also been selected as an emerging photographer to watch on Artsy.net.
