Alice Gray Stites is the Museum Director and Chief Curator of 21c Museum Hotels. 21c is a multi-venue museum founded by Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson. Stites curates exhibitions, installations, and cultural programming at all 21c locations. The museum collaborates with organizations like Contemporary Arts Center, North Carolina Museum of Art, and Barnes Foundation. Since 2006, 21c has presented over 100 exhibitions. Stites recently curated Hybridity, Aftermath, Seeing Now, Wild Card, Dis-semblance, Albano Alfonso, Pop Stars!, Labor&Materials, Fallen Fruit, The Future is Female, Truth or Dare, and The SuperNatural.
